IT Portfolio Management Full Stack Engineer Specialist Location Hybrid work in Coraopolis, PA :

Eaton's IT team is currently seeking a IT Portfolio Management Full Stack Engineer Specialist to join team. This position will be based at our Beachwood, Ohio, Moon TWP, PA, Houston, TX, Galesburg, MI, Raleigh, NC or Menomonee Falls, WI. The position is eligible for hybrid work setup.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $154,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

The Full Stack Engineer will support the Portfolio Management IT product team to understand functional requirements and responsible for end-to-end support, solution design, development & deployment of Clarity tool. The scope of services will include translating business requirements to functional and technical specs, development, configuration and customization of Clarity PPM product including workflows, portlets and reports. Primary responsibilities include facilitating project technical leadership activities across multiple business organizations spanning sectors that are highly complex in nature, performing design of security and architectural models for complex projects in Portfolio Management space, working on the support tickets and providing proactive direction ensuring a stable and scalable solution.

This position is responsible for gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in NSQL, Gel Script, XOG, API, JRXML, Linux commands. The full stack engineer will write code that resides in all areas across a typical application stack. This encompasses the user interface (UI), back-end systems, APIs, databases and data stores, as well as unit tests and test automation scripts. They know how to author high-quality, unit tested code for scalable web applications and distributed systems. Solutions run on-premises and in the cloud. Full stack engineers are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Full stack engineers will demonstrate and document solutions by using flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, code snippets, and performance instruments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate leadership in technical design with ability to identify multiple alternatives to develop and then suggest the best approach considering the situation/need
  • Development, configuration and customization of Clarity - Classic & Modern UX
  • Translate requirements into technical representations allowing customers/BA to understand how proposed design/solution will meet their requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues related to various modules in Clarity for users located across the world
  • Work across a collaborative regional team with strong personal management skills in a highly matrixed and virtual environment
  • Work as a resource during major Clarity upgrades as and when needed
  • Resolve incidents and fulfill requests using incident and request management processes under general guidance. Escalate via workflow as needed.
  • Prioritize incidents to ensure high impact and urgent tickets are worked by priority and talks with leadership to ensure no customer impact. Respond to and resolves technical questions and service requests (Medium complexity) from the User Community.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in design, development, implementation and administration of Clarity PPM (a Broadcom product)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience utilizing best practices in software engineering
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and their associated development platforms
  • Experience with NSQL, Gel Script, XOG, API, JRXML, Linux commands and associated tools (Jaspersoft Studio, Postman, SQL Developer etc.)
  • Experience with software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI, and CD principles from code check-in through to deployment
  • Experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
